My husband, kids and I were making a last minute trip to Mexico on Friday night. We were tired and wanted to stop by and sleep at a hotel, I was calling around nearest hotels and all were priced above $100-$150. I was sketchy about sleeping just in any hotel due to past roaches experience! But we tried RIVIERA. our night price was very affordable! I walked in to our room and I was surprised on how clean it was! Instantly walking in I smelled the bleach! Which is NOT a problem to me, it made me feel very comfortable! Restrooms were as well very clean! The only small issue is that the sheets had really small stains. I don’t know from what, but it didn’t take my peace of mind away. I just brought my travel blanket to sleep with and slept like a baby! Me and my family were very comfortable here! Great experience! Definitely recommend this hotel!
Very sweet people. Rooms clean. Hard working. I believe it is husband, wife and daughter who run the office. And husband ,wife and housekeeper cleaning. Just all around sweet people.
Word to the wise DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL ON ORBITZ! The hotel will not honor the reservation. I was lucky there was a room available. Per the owner they don't deal with ORBITZ. I guess ORBITZ doesn't pay the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the owner does his best as a one man show to keep the rooms cleaned. He needs to hire a staff, but being that this hotel is only used mostly by contractors I can see the problems with funding a staff. Will I stay here again'? Maybe but they have to be open to more markets and other websites. Orbitz needs to stop posting this hotel on its sight and telling people they have a reservation when they don't. Nothing pisses off a traveler more than to go to a hotel and get the deer in the head lights look that they had no clue you were coming. Thank you for the hotel stay but fix the system.
Restroom very clean nice smelling towels could just use a little sweeping of floor but pretty good for price in a small town
Our room was very clean. Staff was nice and extremely helpful. I would stay here again, if you're looking for a room, I would highly recommend Riviera inn and suites.
Nice little place to stay if you are passing through or working in the area. The family that owns it is great and very helpful with anything you need. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the beds are comfortable. It has a nice pool and each room has their own dedicated parking spot. Food close by also. By far one of the best motels I have stayed at.
This place is one in a million. Joseph is the greatest inn keeper ever! Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Pool is very well taken care of. Great rates. 2 propane grills and a nice deck area for guests. Free laundry too. A nice home away from home!
